I’ve been on a field trip (part of my High Tech Entrepreneurship course) a few days ago to the Thailand Science Park which is very close to AIT Campus. I don’t really know why, but we had to take a bus to go there (10min by bike)… maybe to make it look more official.

We were very well received by the people there and had the chance to get an overhaul presentation and visit of the Incubator.

The program is quite interesting to get new companies started. They offer all the services that incubators do, like grants, office space, common services and other forms of assistance. We don’t know yet the success rate because this is the first batch. Everything was kinda new, with empty workspaces and untouched desktops… I wish this science park the best!

Thailand Science Park (TSP) is the country’s first science and technology park under the management of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Ministry of Science and Technology. With an investment of about Baht 7,000 million, the Park is being established as a service center for scientific and technological research and development activities. The park aims to accelerate local human resource development to be on par with global counterparts and to become a hub of specialists and researchers from the various fields of industry.
